Erika Romagnoli
Erika earned her B.A. from Bucknell University and her M.S. in speech-language pathology from MGH Institute of Health Professionals. Additionally, Erika completed an extra concentration in literacy in order to earn a reading specialist licensure. After graduating, Erika worked in a Boston area preschool and elementary school, where she provided both group and individual therapy to help students reach their language and literacy goals. As a Westchester native with a strong interest in pediatric language and social development, when moving back to NY, Dramatic Pragmatics was a perfect fit.
Erika has experience working with a wide range of ages, and her clinical interests include early intervention, expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, ASD, speech sound disorders, executive functioning, augmentative and alternative communication, and literacy development and intervention. Erika believes that an effective therapeutic relationship is based on trust, engagement, and collaboration. She enjoys learning about her clients and works to incorporate their interests and strengths into all session activities, building on those interests and motivation to help each individual reach their fullest potential.
