Elizabeth “EJ” Espada
EJ is a dynamic, knowledgeable and creative therapist who is dedicated to helping her clients achieve success. EJ earned her Master’s degree from Columbia University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. EJ has worked in both elementary and middle schools, providing curriculum based interventions for students requiring various types of support. For our youngest learners, EJ is also experienced in early intervention. As a bilingual therapist with advanced training, EJ is able to provide assessment and therapy in both English and Spanish. With additional training in PROMPT level 2, EJ is able to support students with motor speech disorders or persisting articulation challenges. Additional clinical interests include school-aged language and literacy challenges which impact language comprehension, oral expression, vocabulary development, and written language. Our families appreciate EJ’s ability to use each client’s interests in order to help motivate them to achieve their goals. EJ’s friendly personality, clinical knowledge and therapeutic creativity make her a valued DP team member.
