Kelly Reinhardt

Kelly Reinhardt, M.A. CCC-SLP TSSLD

Kelly earned her masters degree in speech-language pathology from Hofstra university. An experienced clinician, Kelly has extensive experience working with elementary school students of varying needs as well as being skilled at how to successfully collaborate with classroom staff to carryover each student’s language/learning goals. Kelly has additional  training in PROMPT and Linda Mood–Bell language programs. Kelly is adept at integrating curriculum goals and themes into therapy sessions in creative ways and is clinically astute with all age groups from preschool on up. Kelly is knowledgable about feeding and sensory issues and is able to provide feeding therapy and suggestions to address oral motor and sensory  feeding concerns.

In addition to working full-time in elementary schools in Westchester, Kelly’s career includes being promoted to Senior Speech-Language Pathologist at the Jackson Development Center where she provided therapeutic services to the preschool population with deficits such as weakness in play skills, expressive language, processing, phonological awareness, pragmatic language, and speech sound development. In addition, Kelly’s responsibilities included training new staff and and planning how to most effectively target new IEP goals.  Aside from a passion for treating social communication  disorders and working with students on the autistic spectrum, Kelly also has an expertise in augmentative and alternative communication. Kelly’s enthusiasm, passion and ability to involve parents,  make her a sought after clinican by both parents and students.
